So I recently came in contact with a beautiful soul, Christiana, and she told me about her recently launched beauty brand "Uncoveree". Now you all know I am all for anything related to "women empowerment", I was intrigued to hear about a brand with a mission to be your go-to source for efficient skincare products that will enrich, enjoy, and improve your life. By doing this, they hope to create an environment that is exclusively for you and all you need. Because of this, they aim to offer you efficient beauty solutions that may meet all of your requirements.
What was the inspiration behind the launch of this beauty brand "Uncoveree"?
Uncoveree was founded in response to the lack of suitable beauty products for black women, a gap that became more apparent during the Covid-19 pandemic. Fueled by a desire to provide a solution, I researched high-quality products that are specifically designed for black women.
As a retail brand, Uncoveree aspires to bring together the best skincare & beauty essentials, empowering women to shop with confidence and find products that truly meet their needs. Uncoveree aims to revolutionize the beauty industry and celebrate the beauty of black women while challenging normalized ‘beauty standards’.
We want our customers to feel truly understood, which is why we partner with uniquely sourced black-owned brands. We currently sell natural skincare from a brand called Freya & Bailey. These natural skincare products are vegan, cruelty-free, and sustainable.
What kind of products do you offer?
We sell a Multivitamin Face Cleanser that includes Oat Silk, which has soothing properties that calm and comfort irritated skin. It gently purifies without stripping away moisture and contains Vitamin C, E, B3, B5 & B6. The combination of these vitamins helps to reduce blemishes, nourish, protect, and improve your skin's overall health and texture. It is suitable for blemish and breakout-prone skin and helps to combat the effects of stress, and pollution, leaving your skin rejuvenated and radiant.
The Endurance Face Toner available on our site also includes organic ingredients such as Aloe Vera and Vitamin C, which aim to hydrate and restore balance to your skin. The detoxifying properties of this toner are attributed to orange essential oil, which effectively cleanses and purifies the skin. This powerful ingredient helps unclog pores, remove excess oil, and minimize the appearance of blemishes. Chamomile is another main ingredient that is known for its soothing effects, helping to reduce inflammation while promoting a clear and balanced complexion.
