I love Chanel, my family says I am the Chanel Queen when they see my Chanel Shrine Table lol, but not just because of the physical Items, it's what it stands for and what it means to me personally.
It's rather sad that People think when you surround yourself with luxury you are materialistic unfortunately this is not the case for everyone.
I will share something with you; At a point in my life I came across some very toxic and negative-minded folks, and they would say things like "oh no you can't touch that you can't afford it" maybe some other lifetime you may be lucky to touch this luxury item, or I would hear one always compare and refer to the time I was at my lowest. Sadly people forget that everyone in this life passes through a phase where they have their life trial and if you are lucky enough to help and not mock the person's situation in a long run, you'd never know the more enormous blessing coming your way.
Long story short- I made sure I said to myself- "Linda, when you are able to overcome your current situation, make sure you always surround yourself with beautiful things and vibes, make sure you appreciate everything beautiful in life because you deserve it, don't wait for anyone to get it for you, you can get it yourself even if you have to dive into the best charity or vintage sale box there is always beauty to be found in places people fail to look, and if you can't afford it, then it's simply too expensive don't you dare leave yourself without, if you can create it then dive into a DIY store and get the items needed" this was and is still my mindset, to never get carried away by luxury or material things but to also never be afraid to surround myself with it.
