Breakfast provides the body and brain with fuel after an overnight fast – that’s where its name originates, breaking the fast! Without breakfast you are effectively running on empty, like trying to start the car with no petrol!
I know some of us never have the chance to eat breakfast due to -Early school runs, catching the train or getting to your place of work, but the easiest breakfast i recommend is (Cereal or Fruits). I try to mix things up in a fun way, and it does the job.
Nutritionists advise:
- breakfast should be eaten within two hours of waking
- a healthy breakfast should provide calories in the range of20-35% of your guideline daily allowance (GDA).
